Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a popular, safe, and effective way to exfoliate facial skin! Dermaplaning is a skin treatment that uses an exfoliating blade to skim dead skin cells and hair from your face.
Dermaplaning aims to make your skin’s surface smooth, youthful, and radiant. At Complexions Vancouver MedSpa, our master esthetician uses this advanced method to remove dead skin cells and peach fuzz to reveal your natural, smooth skin. Unlike microdermabrasion, dermaplaning involves the gentle use of a sharp scalpel to scrape off the very top layer of the skin. Even though it may sound a bit scary, it’s not a painful procedure. In the hands of a skilled esthetician, you’ll enjoy amazing results and a comfortable experience.Right after the procedure, your skin texture and tone are noticeably healthier. The benefits of dermaplaning do not stop there though. As you come in every few months for the procedure, you will start to notice fewer wrinkles, dark spots, and acne scarring due to increased cell turnover. For a skin-smoothing treatment that offers stunning benefits, dermaplaning is an excellent option!
Dermaplaning provides an effective and safe exfoliation treatment that promotes deeper product penetration, boosting the effects of skin care products while making the skin look and feel smoother and also reducing the appearance of acne scars. The treatment also works to remove facial hair that can trap dirt and oils. It works on almost all skin types and provides near-instant results with no downtime.
